In the process of downloading nt and tried to start up sequenceserver - throws a database memory error. Seems to me like the desired behavior would be to throw an exception for that database and continue, then email the admin that there’s an issue.
As an aside I was using Anurag’s “ncbi-blast-dbs” program to download databases and it is just not working with large multi-component databases. I suspect it’s a threading thing where it’s launching too many requests simultaneously; I wrote a similar thing in python that lets me control the number of wget’s and it works fine at 3 or 4 concurrent downloads - got nt overnight that way.
