Removing duplicate BLAST databases

I recently removed several BLAST databases I had previously added from FASTA files (by deleting their associated .nhd, .nhi, .nhr. etc. files). I then re-added these BLAST databases using the “sequenceserver -m -d /path to directory with fasta files” command so that I could rename them as they were added. This went off without a hitch.

My issue is that I now have multiple copies of each of these renamed BLAST databases in SequenceServer (I have included an attached screenshot). I don’t see any indication that the FASTA or related files have been duplicated within my computer’s file explorer. Anyone know if there is a way to get rid of these duplicate BLAST databases?

Could you post the contents of your database directory? SequenceServer scans the database directory recursively, i.e., sub-folders are scanned as well. Any chance the other copy is in a subfolder that you forgot about?
