Compatible to raspberry pi3?

Hello all!

I am looking for a cheap method to do local nucleotide blast (using refseq database plus some selected bacteria and virus)
Do you think a raspberry pi 3 can handle the computation power for sequenceserver and install on it?

I am willing to purchase better SD cards and USB drives to power it up.

Slower is not a problem…I usually able to blast a primer every 30 min after numerous timeouts and disconnections.

Not sure how powerful pi 3 is. But as precompiled binaries for ARM platform are not available, SequenceServer won’t be able to download it automatically on pi. You will need to compiled BLAST from source. If slow is not a problem, it’s worth a try I guess.
